European Poetry and Poets at 3rd London Poetry Festival 2007

Because of Poet's Letter's and London Poetry Festival's strong links with the European countries and cities and their poetry communities 3rd London Poetry Festival 2007 is having a great contributions from European poets and poetry. Therefore, we have decided to make one day of the four-day events European Poetry Night at London Poetry Festival 2007. August 12, Sunday is the European Poetry Night.

We have already got confirmation of Spanish Poet Tomás Sánchez Santiago and Spanish Translator Dr Natalia Carbajosa joining at the 3rd London Poetry Festival 2007.

There are poets joining us from Germany, Belgium, Malta, Czech Republic and other European countries.

We invite all European poets who could co-incide their holiday in the UK around the time of the Festival to try and join the Festival.

Poets from other countries of the World including America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand

If you are going to be in the UK around the time of the Festival please do contact us as we would love to accommodate as many poets as possible to make it a true international celebration of human creativity. However, since there is no funding available, we are not able to offer any financial assistance.

A special note to people who write for invitation from outside the UK

Regrettably, we do not issue invitations to speculative people who write to us seeking invitations in their efforts to acquire a UK visa. If you have not been writing for a long time and well established in your own country, culture and language and have achieved international repute for your poetic works you are very much unlikely to get an invitation from London Poetry Festival.
